JC VILLALVA

JC had always been interested in the world of the arts ever since he could remember. He started drawing electric fans at the age of 3 and has since moved on to doing more creative things from then.
He studied Interior Design at the University of the Philippines-Diliman before realizing his passion for fashion. He then transferred to the De La Salle-College of St. Benilde to pursue his degree in Fashion Design and Merchandising. During his final year in CSB, he took short courses at the School of Fashion and the Arts. He realized that there was more to fashion than meets the eye after he headed the annual graduation showcase. All the processes it takes to make clothes made him discover that he appreciates fashion more from an outsider's perspective than from creating the clothes themselves.
Realizing that fashion had several avenues more to explore, he earned a VOGUE Fashion Certificate at the Condé Nast College of Fashion Design in London where he realized that he wanted to hone his eye for fashion publishing. There's no stopping his thirst and curiosity, JC then studied at the prestigious Central Saint Martins before coming back home to the Philippines to share all the knowledge and skills he acquired.
If not walking around the malls in shorts, he can be found meandering aimlessly about looking for inspiration, sitting down reading a book over a cup of tea (coffee makes him fidgety), laughing boisterously with friends along some random street, dancing the night away just about anywhere, and eating while thinking of ways to lose weight.
